My name is Alicia Amaro, and I am a 20-year-old college student currently pursuing a degree. I have always had a deep love for reading and writing, and my goal is to turn that passion into a future career. Whether I become a librarian, journalist, or work in another field connected to literature, I hope to continue sharing my love for stories and the written word.
Outside of school, I am a member of the choir at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, where I play the cello. I have been playing the cello for over eight years, and music has always been an important part of my life. Since the day I first walked into the church, the community at St. Elizabeth Seton has made me feel incredibly welcome, and I am grateful to be part of such a warm and supportive parish.
Joining the church newspaper is a wonderful opportunity for me to give back to the community while continuing to grow as a writer. I am excited to begin this journey and hope it helps guide me toward my future career.
