St. Elizabeth Seton Jubilee Committee
An open invitation doesn’t need to be grand or complicated. It is merely a chance for us to offer what we have and share it with others. As Christ reminds in the parable of talents, (Matthew 25: 14-30) we are encouraged to share and give openly of our talents, time and blessings,
An invitation can be the little things, inviting a neighbor to join you at St. Elizabeth Seton, it’s welcoming strangers who come to St. Elizabeth Seton for the first time or simply holding the door for each other as we enter to pray.
During our Jubilee year, you all have an open invitation to join others in the celebration of a long legacy of a caring community. You are welcome to become more involved in the monthly Jubilee activities, attend special masses, or join one of the many committees that serve this parish.
You are also invited to help us support the much-needed renovations that are being planned for our church. After fifty years we will be refreshing our worship space. The renovations are scheduled to begin in May 2026 and be completed before Advent 2026. During that time, our worship space will be set up in the Hall. This timeframe was chosen as many parishioners travel out of the Valley in the hot summer months.
Because of the past generosity of this community, we have already raised enough funds to cover new pews, new flooring, reconfigure the choir area and build ramps to the sanctuary, to make it handicap accessible.
But additional funds are needed to replace the Ambo, the Baptism, new entry doors, soundproof the confessionals and improved sound system. Our parish will begin a special fundraiser in the coming month. Your contributions are needed, as we look toward our goal of $250,000.00.
We have already been blessed with two gifts from our parish family, including a generous gift of over $10,000.00 raised by the Third Annual Trifecta held in October 2025. But we have a long way to go. A Fund-Raising Committee has been invited to help us reach out to those who wish to help meet our goal.
As we launch our Jubilee Fund Raising Campaign, we will openly share with you the plans for our worship space. An active committee of parishioners, along with Father Williams Abba, have shared their comments, ideas and provided feedback on materials, colors and layout. Once all materials are assembled, they will be shared with you, as we envision the future.
Your contributions to our fundraising campaign will help! You are encouraged to consult your tax advisor as the charitable giving laws are changing in 2026.
Every gift offered will make a lasting impact on St. Elizabeth Seton. After fifty-years, let’s honor those who went before us in building a community of believers, as we prepare our parish for the future. Your contribution will make a difference because you make a difference in the life of this parish family. As we are reminded in the first letter of Peter (4:10), “As each has received a gift, employ it for one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”
You are invited!
