“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven”. Ecclesiastes 3:1
The Family Seton celebrates its fourth year of publishing with this fall issue. We have circulated sixteen issues with various articles about who we are and what our parish has accomplished, and we had a team discussion about what approach we should take for future issues.
We have excellent writers and interesting stories to share. Our writers have visited different Catholic churches and taken pilgrimages to distant countries. They have favorite saints and are involved in many different interesting aspects of the Church. So why not showcase those places, their faith direction, and their spiritual wisdom? We will always write about activities within the St. Elizabeth Seton parish, but in addition you will be “wowed” by the writers’ deep knowledge, direction and commitment to go beyond the ordinary as they invite you to look beyond our usual prayers and recognize Jesus in those interesting places, subjects, and deep within your heart.
This is our future goal.
In this issue we learn about Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre in Quebec, a pilgrimage to Poland, All Saints Day, St. Anthony Monastery & Shrines, a Three Hopes series, and many more interesting articles including Fr. Williams video and Steve Raml’s Musings. Overall, it’s a wonderful issue that you will want to enjoy as the birth of Christ approaches.
From all of us to you and your family, we wish you the Blessings of Christmas and the hope of a joyous New Year.
In Christ,
Deacon Sal
